Donations To Our Queensland Railway Employee Memorial Collection
At Railway Preservation Society Of Queensland Incorporated, we value contributions to the Queensland Railway Employee Memorial Collection; from members of the public, organizations and government. We wish to tell the story of Railway employees working for the Queensland Government Railways from 1865 to 1978, Queensland Railways from 1978 to 1991, Queensland Rail from 1992 to Present.
We focus purely on artifacts related to Queensland Railways and Railways of Queensland if it relevant to the Government owned Railways.
How To Donate
collections acquisition Policy
In line with Society regulations in regards to donations of material and artifacts, we have a strict policy as per RPSQI Collections Policy By Law, 2021. As follows Sub Clause 2A:
ALL DONATIONS & ACQUISITIONS TO RPSQI - QR RAILWAY EMPLOYEE MEMORIAL COLLECTION IS FINAL, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. UNLESS DUE CRIMINAL [POLICE OR COURT ] OR LEGAL ORDERS BY A COURT OF LAW.
Sub Clause 2B -
RPSQI reserve the right to undertake independent third party advice and background checks on all donors and items to ascertain their legitimacy and providence. Any person or organization, that does not meet the 'good faith rule' the item will be refused to accessioned and matters will be escalated.
